‘When we heal the earth, we heal ourselves.’ ~ David Orr
After all the massive destructions man has caused, it’s now time to take corrective measures. In the court of justice, when mankind is accused of destroying nature’s resources and beauty, do we have any say in our defense? Our actions certainly don’t merit pardon but what we must do is rectify our mistakes. The shrinking ‘ozone hole’ above the Antarctic is a telling sign that our efforts will never go in vain.
A play ‘Nature v/s Man’, scripted, directed & enacted by our colleagues was staged at the head office, Mahalaxmi, to spread the message ‘Let’s Heal Nature’. Each one of us, especially those in influential positions must take the responsibility to ensure a greener planet for us and our children. Make conservation & preservation a way of life.
Waste Not, Want Not!
The ripples of change need an initiation which, no matter how small, has the potential to enlarge its territory of influence. That is what the Best Out of Waste competition, conducted at HO, aimed to achieve. It substantiated the message, 'Reduce, Recycle, Reuse'.
Enthusiasm of the participants is valued and the excellence of all entries applauded. Our colleagues proved that Ion Exchange is truly great at recycling!
VC & MD, Mr.Rajesh Sharma, was the judge and declared the winning entries:
1 Place: Advait Jadhav
2 Place: Nisha Sawant & Natania Satam
